West Platte Middle School Counseling Department strives to support students and families through the implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program. We work with students through classroom lessons, small group counseling, individual counseling and responsive services to aid in meeting the needs of the whole student. Our school counselor works with faculty, family and the community to provide resources and supports to implement programs to meet the needs of our students. Our school counseling program promotes academic success, career exploration and positive social/emotional development of all of our students in order to prepare them for their future.
